Rick Riordan fans already know what to expect out of The Hidden Oracle, and it doesn’t disappoint. His latest mythology-based novel takes us back to the world of Percy Jackson, but this time his main character is the god Apollo.

Zeus has stripped Apollo of his godly powers and dropped him in Hell’s Kitchen, where he enters into the service of a young demigoddess to perform his penance until Zeus decides to restore his powers. The pair travels to Camp Half Blood, where their adventures really begin.

The Hiddle Oracle is the first book of Riordan’s The Trials of Apollo series. If you’ve read and liked Riordan’s previous work, you’ll like this one too – if you haven’t, then give this one a try.
