Into The Black Nowhere is the sequel to Meg Gardiner’s UNSUB. Although the books share the same main character in Caitlin Hendrix, the second book is in many ways a departure from the first.
The first book contained more of a mystery element, where in this book the killer was revealed much earlier and the focus becomes capturing him as opposed to identifying him. Like UNSUB, this book was well-written, fast-paced and entertaining. I plowed through it in less than two days.
I gave Into The Black Nowhere five stars on Goodreads. It has all of the good aspects of the first book, and is an even more satisfying read.
