Subtitle: Planning Your Amazing Book

I received an advance reader copy of this book from the publisher through Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

Where the original Inkslinger was an ambitious guide to writing a 50,000 word novel in 99 days, Inkslinger 2 is concerned with how to plan a novel. It includes breakdowns of key decisions such as: target audience, genre, plot structure, outlining, point of view, and several other considerations.

I gave Inkslinger 2 four stars on Goodreads. It’s appeal is mainly in it’s ‘big picture’ point of view. I think newer writers would find it more useful that more experienced ones would. In fact, I wish I’d had access to a book like this back when I was starting out as a writer.
